JASON CUTLER, a volunteer EMT at the HHVFD, was honored again for his dedicated service. Southern Maryland District American Legion named Jason the EMS Volunteer of the Year on May 3, 2009. The pictures are from the May 3rd presentation. A second presentation was held on May 11th, 2009, unfortunately, there are no pictures of that presentation. Jason developed a severe allergic reaction from an unknown source just before the presentation. Thanks to other HHVFD volunteers,EMT Ashley Hoover and FFII Kathy Gies, he received outstanding care until paramedics arrived and transported Jason to Harbor Hospital. Thankfully, Jason is fine now and is back to spending much of his time assisting others in need. CONGRATS AND THANKS JASON!...If you recall, Jason was honored by the Anne Arundel County Volunteer Firefighters Association as "EMT of the quarter" for the 3rd quarter of 2008.
